A new regional service

The Consell Comarcal del Baix Empordà (the Baix Empordà Regional Council) promotes the tourist resources in the region. As part of these resources, for years now, the regional council has been managing the active tourism networks in the area which include hiking, cycle tourism and mountain biking. There are several specialist publications concerning active tourism which are published by the regional council.

This platform has been set up in order to disseminate the publications that explain and help people to understand and travel through our territory and bring it closer to users, visitors and tourists. In addition to the active tourism publications, we are gradually including publications and other features of our municipalities and of the associations and people who work in the management, dissemination and promotion of the natural and cultural values of our region.

This platform has been created as a regional service, making the most of the context that is offered by the Internet and the new technologies to reach the greatest number of people possible.
